To facilitate the application process for Employers / Companies for the obtention of Work Permits / Certificates of Exemption, a Common Application Form has been designed whereby applications for both Residence Permit and Work Permit / Certificate of Exemption may be submitted on a single form, namely the Common Application Form for Work Permit / Certificate of Exemption. Applications have to be submitted online through the e-Work Permit Portal.

It should be noted that Residence Permits will be granted by the Passport and Immigration Office and Work Permits by the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment.
